Our Bratislava-based client required an online presence showcasing their growing Persian carpet business. The site was originally published in 2005 in English, Slovak, and German, and we arranged for our client's Slovakian hosting provider to have Arina.sk forward to the Slovak version of the site. The multilinguality is set up in such a way that a visitor can switch languages at any time, thereby translating their current page into one of the other two languages.
In August 2008 we were asked to add support for Russian content, and decided to convert the site to the Joomla content management system to take advantage of its multilingual content editing features. Additionally, the new site automatically detects visitors' preferred language based on their browser settings.
