Founded in 1986 and based in Hollywood, P3 is a monthly internationally-distributed trade publication that educates industry professionals involved in the business of film, television, broadcast, commercial, documentary and music video production.
P3 approached us with the task of migrating a Joomla 1.0 site to 1.5 and enhancing it with online payment for subscriptions, both print and digital. The conversion involved a switch from RocketTheme's TerranTribune 1.0 template to SolarSentinel, as well as adding custom module positions. We also migrated their ads from OpenX to Joomla's native banner ad system, reformatted articles for proper display, and added a photo gallery system for articles containing multiple images. Both during and after the migration, we guided P3 Update's staff with site maintenance and provided written and visual documentation.
