IAFNS was in the process of revamping their WordPress site, and reached out to us for some technical assistance. Specifically, we helped with:
- A theme change, including CSS and JavaScript fixes. This also involved responsive layout work and device testing.
- Adjustments to some custom shortcode logic. Their Publications and Events pages each use a custom shortcode to display some custom filters, and this needed adjustments to keep it functional in the new theme.
- In addition, the committee pages on this site needed a way to display events and publications specific to each committee. We extended the existing shortcode logic to allow for an extra shortcode attribute whereby the site administrators can limit the result to just those tagged with a specific committee.
