We have maintained Friends of Florence's website since 2013. In 2015 we migrated it from Drupal 6 to 7, and in 2016 we made the layout fully responsive (mobile-friendly). We carried over the original layout, but have made major improvements along the way. Special attention was given to page speed and SEO.
The PPLVR Learning Community is a peer-to-peer online network where low vision rehabilitation (LVR) professionals can meet one another, share knowledge and new ideas, discuss challenging cases, and keep current on issues of concern to LVR practitioners. Optometrists, ophthalmologists, occupational therapists, orientation and mobility specialists, vision teachers, social workers, psychologists, and other vision rehabilitation and education professionals regularly participate in PPLVR's online courses. Atlanta Computer Group specializes in ATM parts, supplies, and repairs. ACG uses SouthWare Netlink, for which we developed a custom Joomla application.
They use SouthWare for their enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, together with Netlink. Their previous site ran on a Windows platform, but they did not have a convenient way to editing their own pages while incorporating e-commerce into their site.
A Dutch online wine seller with a unique elegant look. The site was designed to appeal to the 25-40 age group, who would be more receptive to purchasing wine online. The site is built with Joomla, and the e-commerce is handled by VirtueMart, a Joomla extension. It has been set up for credit card transactions, and for Dutch customers bank transfers are possible using an iDeal plugin. The site also offers an iPhone app.
